Raül and Murilo, two chefs with a shared passion for cooking, met in 2014 working together at Moments, Mandarin Oriental, marking the beginning of a professional relationship that transformed into a solid partnership in 2018. Their connection strengthened over the years, and in 2022 they decided to open Cuina SANT PAU together, a project that reflected their joint vision of gastronomy.
The idea to collaborate was born from an initial proposal to open a venue in Calella, where they saw an opportunity to join forces. Inspired by their mutual admiration and desire to create something unique, they decided to embark on this gastronomic journey as partners. Their approach combines Murilo's expertise in international techniques, such as Brazilian cuisine, with the creativity and innovation that Raül brings to each dish with his touch of Catalan gastronomy. Together they have managed to fuse styles, create unique culinary experiences and establish a place that celebrates both their individual backgrounds and their shared vision of the culinary art.
